A grounding, quietly dramatic anchor for the rooms you actually live in.
This Anatolian-style medallion carpet is made the slow way — knot by knot on a hand-strung loom in the Bhadohi–Mirzapur weaving belt of Uttar Pradesh, India, by weavers who learned the craft from their fathers. The graphite field carries a soft horizontal abrash, the natural tonal shift that comes from hand-dyed wool woven in small batches. Set against it is a stepped Kazak medallion in dove grey, warm sand and ivory, framed by a crisp cream border of tribal Ottoman motifs.
The result reads as a neutral from standing height and reveals its detail up close. Charcoal grounds a room in a way lighter greys can't — it holds against oak floors, leather, black metal and creamy plaster walls, and it forgives daily life the way ivory never will.

Care
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, rotate every 6 months for even wear, blot spills immediately. Professional wool cleaning every 2–3 years. A rug pad is strongly recommended.
