"Hand-knotted in 100% New Zealand wool, this Turkish Oushak rug pairs a deep slate-blue field with a wide greige border — a quiet, architectural piece built to last generations.
There is a reason designers keep coming back to the Oushak. The pattern is generous rather than busy: large-scale palmettes, open rosettes and serrated leaves drift across the field in ivory, cream, camel, soft olive and deep navy, with occasional flickers of rust. Nothing crowds. The wide sand-and-greige border acts like a mat around a painting, letting the blue field breathe and giving the whole rug a settled, collected look rather than a decorated one.
The field itself sits in the exact register the market moved toward this year — a cool, weathered blue with the character of aged copper.
