This is not a faded, washed-out reproduction. The field is a deep, living emerald with soft abrash movement through the pile, framed by a wide honey-gold border and finished with a dark teal guard band. Scattered across the ground are large-scale Oushak palmettes and leaf rosettes worked in navy, sky blue, olive, ivory and small flashes of rust — the kind of confident, open Anatolian drawing that reads beautifully from across a room and still rewards a close look.
