This is a classic Oushak in the truest sense: an open ivory field, generous negative space, and a large-scale floral lattice that reads as pattern from a distance and as detail up close. The elongated central medallion is anchored by soft charcoal and sage rosettes, while the wide greige border carries the Anatolian palmette-and-vine motif that has run through Ushak weaving for four centuries. Every knot is tied by hand by artisan weavers in the Bhadohi–Varanasi weaving belt, on looms our family has sourced from for years.
